For the past 10 years, Kit has been involved in a plethora of academic and design projects. As a two-time research fellow at the University of Georgia, Kit developed online interactive experiences for one of the nation’s first metropolitan wireless zones. He has extensive experience in branding new products and line extensions for mainstream consumer packaging clients such as Anheuser Busch, Coca-Cola, Cadbury Adams, Colgate Palmolive, Royal Philips Electronics, and Unilever Bestfoods.
Kit has also consulted for small and large companies on business strategy. His work in this space ranges from developing a social business model with a Nobel Peace Laureate to advising an annual design cycle process for a global energy company. Kit received his Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2007.
Coming from design and art direction experience at studios in New York and Los Angeles, Paul is the creative force behind Look-Listen. His work includes Echo Award-winning campaign materials for True Value Rewards; Balducci’s Gourmet Market, Karastan carpets, Mani-G ‘Raps, Flexcar, Walgreens, and Discovery Fresh Step. With a strong background designing and consulting for schools, colleges, and universities—both large and small—in New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, he is able to provide vital insight to the creative process. His work has included capital campaign support, interactive and print projects, podcasting, and video.
As a seasoned and accomplished business leader, Jim brings a balanced blend of corporate (Citibank, SunTrust, BellSouth) and entrepreneurial experience to his role as a role as a strategic advisor to Look-Listen and its clients. His career spans two industries – financial services and information technology – and multiple functional roles including sales, business development, finance, product development/management, strategic planning, corporate development/M&A and information technology.
Most recently, Jim led the startup of a broadband communications service provider in Canada (Cypress Communications), served on the Board of Directors and as CFO for a startup information security software company (GuardedNet) and advised a hosted telecom billing software company (Exceleron Software) as a strategic consultant in repositioning its web-based, software-as-a-service offering for the retail electricity providers marketplace.
